Bravo Dipping Oil

This dipping oil is among my favorites. We made this last night and used it right away. It had tremendous flavor but I feel like it need to sit a couple days so all the flavors could mature and meld together.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz Blended oil
  • 1 oz tomato paste
  • 3/4 tsp dry rosemary
  • 3/4 tsp dry thyme
  • 3/4 tsp dry basil
  • 4 oz boiling water
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 oz sun dried tomato
  • 1/2 tsp chopped parsley
  • 1/2 oz salt and pepper

Directions

  1. In sauce pot, heat oil and add dry herbs. Bring to a simmer and let simmer for 3 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat. Cool. 
  3. Reconstitute sun dried tomatoes in water for 5 minutes and drain.
  4. Add together all oil, garlic, tomato paste, sundried tomato, salt and pepper.
  5. Blend very fine for 45 seconds and refrigerate.
  6. Store in refrigerator covered for 30 days.
