Cheesecake Factory Meatloaf

This was pretty fabulous. However, I didn't have all the ingredients. I used 3lbs of ground beef instead of the 2 lbs of beef, sausage, and lamb mixture (which I do want to try). I also did not add wine, because that would mean finishing a bottle and this meal was already heavy enough with the meatloaf, Chef John's Perfect Mashed Potatoes, and KFC Cole Slaw.

Be forewarned, if you prepare a meal like I did above, you will be in a coma for days. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 12 lb ground pork
  • 12 lb ground veal
  • 34 cup large-curd cottage cheese
  • 12 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 12 cup chopped green pepper
  • 12 cup dry unseasoned breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 13 cup tomato sauce
  • 14 cup dry red wine
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon salt (to taste)
  • 14 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Pack into a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 50 minutes.
