Chuck Roast Burnt Ends

These were amazing and really easy to make. They just took a while (6 hours). You can serve as an appetizer or the main course. It's really up to you.

Servings: 4-6
Prep Time: 5 m
Cook Time: 6 hrs

Ingredients

  • Chuck Roast (about 3-5 lbs)
  • kosher salt
  • black pepper
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
     
  • 8-10 tbsp butter
  • 1 cups of beef stock
  • 1 cup of BBQ Sauce
  • Hot sauce to liking (1/2 cup?)

Directions

  1. Pat chuck roast dry
  2. season all sides liberally with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder
  3. Cook at 250 degrees for about 3 hours
     
  4. Remove from grill and cut into 1" x 1" cubes
  5. Add cubes to foil pan
  6. Add cubes of butter, beef stock, bbq sauce, and hot sauce. Mix all together.
     
  7. Cook at 250 for 3 more hours
  8. Remove from grill, gently mix, and let rest for 20 minutes
